The Simpsonville Police Department
Traffic Enforcement Unit is comprised of one Sergeant, and
three Patrolmen. The primary goal of the Traffic
Enforcement Unit is to reduce the number of Traffic
Collisions and Fatalities that occur in the City Limits of
Simpsonville.
The primary job of
the Traffic Enforcement unit is to enforce South Carolina
Traffic Laws and the City of Simpsonville’s Traffic
Ordinances. This is done with both marked and unmarked
Patrol Vehicles. Traffic Enforcement officers also
investigate the majority of traffic collisions that occur
in the City Limits of Simpsonville.
The
Traffic Enforcement Unit is also involved in many
different Traffic Blitzes (Work Zone safety, The Buckle up
South Carolina safe driving campaign, sober or slammer,
and many more). The Unit also assists other agencies in
Greenville County through the Greenville Safe Communities
Traffic Task Force.
If you
have a Traffic Complaint in your neighborhood or a
question regarding the State of South Carolina Traffic
laws please email Sgt Foreman at
SgtForeman@Simpsonvillepd.com or contact the Traffic
Enforcement Unit at (864) 967-2599.

form is taken to your insurance company within 15 days
